English Crele Orpington Chickens

The Crele Orpington was originally developed in Denmark and made it’s way to the UK. Even today it is still very rare in the UK. It is also sometimes called Legbar Orpington. (Not to be confused with Cream Legbar) The color of the Crele Orpingtons along with the barring is one of the most stunning orpington types. The color and barring are created by crossing a Partridge with a barred/cuckoo. So in essence the Crele is just a Cuckoo Partridge. Our Crele’s are from the Fancy Chick/Sandra Hildreth of Orpington’s Galore line and are split to Isabel Cuckoo. Offspring from this line can result in colors that range from a darker Partridge cuckoo to lighter Isabel cuckoo.
